Awards

Under the banner of the society, two awards have been started –
Lifetime Achievement Award

This award has been started as ‘Prof. I. J. Deewan Centenary Lifetime Achievement
Award’ and is sponsored by Department of Anatomy PGIMER, Chandigarh. The
award is presented to a senior life member of the society, every third year. The last
award in the series was presented in 2017.
Satyanarayan Memorial Young Achievers Award
The Rao-Bahadur Kaizer-E-Hind Dr. Kanapaka Satyanarayana Memorial Young
Achievers Award, was started in 2016, in the memory of Late Dr. K Satyanarayana.
Scientific papers in the various subspecialities of Anatomy are to be presented at the
NCAS conference; in a special session named after the award.
